Thanks to everyone who supported the Water for South Sudan fundraiser by purchasing doughnuts this week.  The total raised so far is $530!  There will be another Krispy Kreme fundraiser on Feb. 18th.

As part of I LOVE TO READ month, you can try your hand at guessing the favourite books of our staff.  Check the bulletin board in the main hallway and grab a guessing sheet if you wish to participate.  There will be hints given throughout the month and your completed form can be handed in to the office for a chance to win a prize at the end of February.

Today’s Book Match Hint:  Mr. Cumming’s favourite book has a male on the cover.

Olympic FACT OF THE DAY: U.S. Alpine skier Mikaela Shiffrin brought 35 pairs of skis with here to PyeongChang in 2018.

Any Big Box Card fundraiser completed orders can be dropped off at the office. The deadline is TODAY! Thanks for supporting this fundraiser!

Alice in Wonderland rehearsal today at lunch is for Scenes 3, 4, 5, & 6.  Reminder that rehearsals have now moved to the Music Room.

For students who are heading to the Learning Commons at lunch, today is a grade 8 day for computers.

Gr. 8 Student Leadership will be selling Jolly Rancher lollipop candy grams starting today at lunch.  For only $1 you can treat a friend or teacher to a sweet Valentine treat.

Intramurals today for grade 8 students.  The gym will open at 12:30 when the bell rings.

Any grade 6, 7 & 8 ringette players who expressed interest in joining the NMS Jr. High team, please remind your parents to email Ms. Westra or Mrs. Tomlinson to confirm your spot on the team. The deadline is TODAY.
