Friday, September 6th – Day 3

We acknowledge the traditional territory upon which the schools of Hanover School Division reside as the lands of Treaty 1 territory and the homeland of the Red River Metis. The Hanover School Divison operates on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe.  In spirit of truth, reconciliation, and collaboration, we honour our relationship with Indigenous Peoples and respect the contributions of history, culture, and language of Canada’s original peoples.

WELCOME BACK STAFF & STUDENTS!

Just a friendly reminder that NMS is a CELL PHONE FREE environment. Personal devices should remain at home.

Attendance is taken at 8:55 and 1:00 daily.  If you arrive after these times, please stop by the office to check in before proceeding to class.

If you are going off campus at lunch, please be sure to let your teacher know so that we can account for your wherabouts in the event of an emergency.

Please be mindful of the town road construction on 4th Avenue and avoid walking this route if heading to Country Snacks or while travelling to and from school.

Intramurals will start up again next week.  You can check which day you are invited to participate by checking the bulletin board across from the gym.

If you ride a bike to school, please remember to lock it at one of the bike racks at the front of the school or by the huts. Please also be sure to walk your bike while on school grounds for your safety and the safety of those around you.

Country Snacks asked us to relay some info about new policies in their store.  Students are not permitted to eat their own lunches in Peppies, but can still eat outside at the picnic tables. The restaurant is for those who purchase food from Peppies only.

Calling all singers!  Anyone with a voice box can sing. On Tuesday, Sept. 10th at 12:05, there will be a brief choir meeting for all grades.  See you then!
