NMS is a cell phone free environment – please leave your devices at home.

Headphone and earbuds are not permitted unless for use during class time.

Reminder to students who are going off campus for lunch to please tell your teacher in the morning when they ask who is leaving for lunch.  Lunch plans should be pre-arranged.

Volleyball practices start this week.  Grade 8 Girls will practice today 3:45-5:00 pm

Today is a grade 7 day to use computers in the Learning Commons at lunch.

Reminder to all grade 7&8 volleyball players to hand in your Extra Curricular and Player Profile forms to the office. Your parents have received these as part of the info email so check with them if you are unsure what forms these are.

If you arrive after 9:00 in the morning or after 1:05 in the afternoon, please be sure to check in at the office before heading to your classroom.

Intramurals today for grade 8 students.  The gym will open at 12:30 when the bell rings.

Grade 8 Student Leadership meetings will start on Wednesday, Sept. 23rd and continue every Wednesday at 12:05 in the Human Ecology lab.  Anyone in grade 8 is welcome to join the Student Leadership team this year -come out to the first meeting to find out if this group is for you!

Students who walk or ride bikes to and from school, be sure to cross safely using either the crosswalk with a crossing guard or press the button to activate the crosswalk at the entrance to 5th Ave Estates.  Your safety is important to us!
