Dear Parents/Guardians:
You will have already received emails from HSD with the divisional and provincial steps being taken to slow the curve. Please be advised that we will insist that students stay home, if they are ill.
Please also note the following:
- School is open to students this week. Classes are suspended beginning March 23.
- Our building will be closed and locked daily at 4:30 p.m.
- There will be no after school extra-curricular activities or clubs.
- At lunch, all clubs will be cancelled until further notice. Students that can go home for lunch are encouraged to do so. Those that stay at school for lunch, will eat in their homeroom and then be encouraged to go outside to play.
- Please note there will be no Son City lunch program until further notice.
- There will be no Discovery Time this week, and so, this concludes Discovery Time for this school year.
- Parent Teacher Interviews that would have been on March 25th will be cancelled. Your child’s teacher will be in touch with you regarding a new time to meet once things sort themselves out.
- Report Cards will be issued this Thursday, March 19th, on the Parent Portal. Those who decide not to attend school this week and receive a printed report card, please note that we will mail these at the end of this week.
- Please note that your child’s teachers will be in direct contact with you in terms of what future learning might look like.
